Dynasties of China

China has a long history, and Chinese historians have organized these histories with "dynasties" as the core, making the context of Chinese history very clear. Although China has been in a state of division for a long time in history, the Chinese have developed such a complete understanding of history through the sorting out of historians of the past dynasties.

In the eyes of the ancient Chinese, the dynasties that rule the world will continue to rotate with the transfer of heaven's protection. Dynasties rise and fall as their fortunes change, and wars between dynasties are a competition of heroes for heaven's protection. Therefore, during the dynastic war, multiple regimes often claimed that they were blessed by the destiny and claimed that they were the only orthodox Chinese dynasty.

Occasionally, regimes outside of China proper also claim to be the real Chinese dynasties, some of which actually conquered and unified China. Historians also consider them to be orthodox Chinese dynasties.
